Bachelorette photography

Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Bariloche are the usual choices, each for a different kind of trip. In Buenos Aires the session might be a Palermo rooftop at golden hour, a Recoleta street or the riverside at Puerto Madero before a late dinner, since the city eats late and goes out later. In Mendoza and the Valle de Uco the session happens between the vines of a bodega before the tasting, with the Andes behind. In Bariloche it is the lakeshore, and in summer the beaches of Cariló and Mar del Plata take over. Each private venue, from a winery to a rooftop bar, decides whether an outside photographer may work on its premises.

Groups need a plan. The 30 minutes start with the full group while everyone is fresh, then the bride-to-be alone and with her closest friends, then smaller sets, and the shot list is agreed in advance with whoever is organising. Matching outfits, sashes and props are welcome; tell the photographer what is coming so there is time to use it. For a large group, a longer session can be quoted in writing before booking.

Night-time is a different job. Bars, boliches and clubs set their own rules on cameras and outside photographers, and the other people inside have not agreed to be photographed, so the session is best kept outdoors or at the place you are staying, in good light, before the evening begins.
