Event videography

Event videography in Argentina is a party or a company event filmed for 5 hours and edited into a 3- to 5-minute highlight film, priced from $900 and delivered within 3 weeks. It covers the nights people want to see again: a fiesta de 15 with its entrance, vals and candles, a 50th birthday in a salón in Buenos Aires, a company dinner at a bodega in Mendoza, a launch on a rooftop in Córdoba, an incentive trip that ends with a party in Bariloche. The price is a starting quote, because extra hours, a second camera or a separate teaser change the work.

About this session

Five hours of a long Argentine night, cut to five minutes

Five hours rarely cover a whole Argentine night, so the timeline is written first. Arrivals, the entrance, the toasts, the vals or the opening dance and the first hour on the dance floor usually fit; a fiesta de 15 or a wedding-sized party keeps going well past that, and the hora loca often falls late. The moments that matter most are marked in advance, and the videographer arrives in time to film the room before the guests do. Extra hours are quoted in writing before booking.

Sound decides whether the speeches survive the edit. Where the DJ or the venue has a mixing desk, the videographer asks for a direct feed, a week before the event; where there is none, a recorder sits beside the person speaking. For a company event, speakers and sponsors are told in advance, and anyone shown recognisably in material that will be published — on a website, in an ad, on social media — signs a release, because article 53 of the Código Civil y Comercial requires consent to reproduce a person’s image or voice. The film is cut to licensed music, and raw footage and full-length speeches are not included unless they are agreed in writing.

Event videography is a different booking from wedding videography, which follows a whole wedding day over 8 hours and delivers a longer film. For a company that also needs photographs of the same night, corporate event photography can be booked alongside, with both teams working to one timeline. And if the event is outdoors in daylight — a polo afternoon, a harvest lunch among the vines — a drone photo and video session can add the setting from above, flown by an insured pilot.

Questions about event videography

Which part of the night does event videography cover?

Event videography covers 5 hours, usually from the arrival of the guests through the entrance, the toasts, the waltz or the opening dance and the first hour on the dance floor. A fiesta de 15 or a party in Argentina often runs much later, so the hours that matter most — the vals, the candles, the hora loca — are marked on the timeline before the night.

Can event videography be used for a company event?

Event videography for a company in Argentina — a launch in Buenos Aires, a dinner at a bodega in Mendoza, an incentive trip to Bariloche — is filmed in the same 5 hours and edited into a 3- to 5-minute film for internal channels or social media. Speakers and sponsors are told in advance, and anyone shown recognisably in public material signs a release.

How is the audio of speeches recorded at a loud party?

Event videography records speeches through a feed from the DJ’s or the venue’s mixing desk where one is available, and through a recorder placed by the speaker where it is not. Ask the venue a week before the event whether a direct feed is possible; without one, a toast spoken over a dance floor is hard to hear even on the best microphone.

How long does an event video take to arrive?

An event video is delivered within 3 weeks of the night as a 3- to 5-minute highlight film with licensed music, through a private download link. A short teaser for social media can be added and is quoted in writing before booking; raw footage and full-length speeches are not included unless they are agreed in writing too.
